SewSearch Site
Designing the Search Experience
The goal of this project was to design the search functionality of a content aggregate site. I designed SewSearch as a tool for sewists to find patterns that fit their needs, style, and budget.
Throughout the process of this project, I conducted research in order to better understand the information architecture and user experience of content aggregate sites. I conducted a literature review, user tests, a comparative analysis, and created a content model and concept map.
I mocked up the home page, search results, and destination pages to illustrate the user’s journey through the search experience.
